Details of the Scottish 1911 Census were released in April 2011. On hand at a special ceremony in New Register House, Edinburgh, were local centenarians Nan Moncur and Murdina Pearse, who featured in the census as young children. This report includes interviews with Registrar General of Scotland Duncan Macniven and census expert Professor Edward Higgs, of Essex University.
